End Cross Brace for Open Steel Shelving
Lyon makes the 8000 series end cross brace for open steel shelving out of 12-gauge steel. We punch each end of the metal shelf cross brace so it can easily bolt to a T-Post Upright. The lateral cross brace provides front to back stability while preventing sway.
Assembly and Installation
The end cross brace for open steel shelving ships unassembled and installs easily in the field. Easily attach the cross brace to the sides of your 8000 t-posts using the keyhole slots. This cross brace includes the necessary nuts and bolts for attaching to your uprights. Be sure to also include back lateral braces with your shelf installation for maximum stability.
Even with an end cross brace for open steel shelving, Lyon strongly recommends that your 8000 series shelving be properly anchored. Make sure to install your uprights plumb and level before anchoring it to the floor and/or wall. Use the Upright-to-Floor Angle and a Concrete Wedge Anchor to anchor your uprights to the floor. Anchoring your 8000 series shelving helps to prevent tipping.
